Pixel Pornographers
The following videos are recordings from a performance by the Pixel Pornographers. This very digital work could slide into the definition of New Media Art. Using custom built software, they are able to improvise the manipulation of sound and video independently, sometimes leading with the video and other times with the sound. The artists base the work off of repetition, tension and release. The work shown here is a repurpose of the 70’s sci-fi film Logan’s Run.
